Jeff Hughes - Interactive!
Jeff started his Florida career as a solo act on Lido Beach and performed every Sunday for the about10 years!
It was at the beach that he started to bring bongos, tambourines etc., for people to join in and when he started Tropical Ave, he decided to include make that a part of the band as well! In addition to inviting people up to play percussion instruments, Jeff also likes to take pictures of his new band mates ("bongo volunteers") - which he posts on Facebook the next day. He feels he is nearing the 75,000 pic mark for the solo participants and band pics too!
Jeff has performed for Beach gigs, Wedding Receptions, Yacht & Country Clubs, area restaurants and corporate parties since moving to Florida in 2003. Typically Jeff plays solo events during the week.
